Hello everyone and welcome to NY SILLY CARES.

Background:

One day I walked through a community in Brooklyn, and although it was riddled with poverty, the amount of compassion I felt as a passersby made me realize that with just a little extra care, people can be happy. With this notion, I set out to make it my life's work to emphasize compassion to all peoples, despite race, creed, or social status. I started a website called NY Silly. At first it was just a game website, but as I learned more and realized the potential, I decided to direct it in a direction where not only can people win cash prizes but they get a chance to learn about our great state, New York.
What started out as a one man group, has added on quiet a few followers and sponsors. I figured hey, there's only two types of people who get attention in life: someone doing something very bad or someone doing something very good. ( We're the latter)

NY Silly.org is our community group full of volunteer network. We call it NY SILLY CARES Program. We exist so that we can exist, in a harmonic state. With our encounters, we have learned that just because a person is a stranger does not mean they should be ignored. You do not make friends from friends, but from strangers!

Yesterday, we had a trial run of our NY Silly Cares Program where we took a few random children and took them to the movie UP! This was a success, not only was the movie entertaining, but the volunteers enjoyed seeing the smiles on the little ones faces. We will have more events coming soon, and this page will try to be updated as much as its twin.
